LOTUS OF THE HEART
All is Welcome Here
Living in Love beyond Beliefs
The ultimate leaving is the leaving of God for God.
*Meister Eckhart
All of God within me dies, that all of God may freely live within me - and I may see. What? I do not know. I am drawn out of myself, by Grace, to find within myself, so in God, that of God within me, everyone - the Son. I relax with this absence, the fullness, leaving always arriving, to know and be lifted above knowing and not knowing, leaving or not leaving, God or not-God - I cannot even call this Being or non-Being, or anything, and correctly speak of It. If I said "Light," I could equally say, and would imply, "Darkness." I, then, neither know nor do not know: Silence knows neither in this knowing, for Silence is before all going forth, Word and words - spoken or thought, or communicated by any means, such as music, painting, laughter... all Nature. And in leaving God for God, I leave myself for myself, for I am unlike what I was told, even as God is unlike what I was told. In finding God I find myself, but in God where I am, where I was before leaving God for God. If I had not known God, I would not have left God to arrive at knowing God, even as the ground, which is prior to knowing God or God knowing me as an object, or other, of this fruitive knowing of God is having been known already by God in the simple - free of duality, free of separation - knowing within God. The entire Contemplative wisdom is grounded in this knowing God by leaving God. The God I knew is a reflection, and filled with human error, of the God no one could teach me - Only God can speak forth God. Does such a dying to God and resurrection in God ever end?
